Bhavna is a very cheerful young woman who works her way out of difficult situations with determination and hard work. She was born and brought up in a family with limited means.
She completed her schooling from Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya in Dwarka, Delhi, with flying colours, scoring 91.2% in her 12th standard board examinations. Her elder sister, who has a marketing job, works very hard to earn enough to support her younger siblings. She managed to get Bhavna admitted into a B.A. course in Ramjas College of Delhi University.
Bhavna came to know about law entrance tests in a sensitization session conducted by the IDIA Delhi Chapter’s student volunteers. She cleared an entrance test and an interview to get admitted to training by IDIA Delhi Chapter’s volunteers. She was trained by them for a year. She worked against all odds and managed to crack the entrance examination for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Common Entrance Test (CET) 2015. She is now a student of B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) in Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology, Delhi.
She has worked as a Management Trainee with LawSikho and iPleaders. She has also interned with the Chamber of Salman Khurshid, the Center for Social Justice, Ahmedabad and Center for Child and Law, NLSIU Bangalore. She also loves writing poetry and is a Karate yellow belt trainee. We are sure that Bhavna will excel with her usual cheerfulness and determination.
