Gudduru Sudheer Reddy
Gudduru Sudheer Reddy hails from the Nalgonda district in Telangana. His father, a factory worker with an annual income of INR 58, 000, is the sole breadwinner of the family, while his mother is a homemaker. Sudheer has a younger sister too. Sudheer has been visually impaired since birth. He left home when he was in kindergarten to study at the Devnar Foundations school for the visually impaired, where he has studied ever since. Inspired by IDIA sensitisations, this bright and sincere student decided to take up law as his career. He got all the support and guidance he needed to prepare for CLAT and cleared the same in the year 2012, securing himself a seat at NLUO, Cuttack. He has a keen interest in public speaking and regularly participates in debates and elocutions. He also feels that his fluency in English has improved significantly in NLUO. Sudheer has interned at Microsoft, Delhi and Monsanto, Mumbai to explore the corporate environment. However, as Sudheer wishes to have a more proactive role in policy making in the future, he is aiming to be a part of the Civil Services. He enjoys carrying out legal research. He has been honing his public speaking skills at presentations. He won the award for the ‘Most Promising Delegate’ in UNHRC. He graduated in the year 2017.
