Veeranna studied at Sai Junior College, Hyderabad, a special school for the visually challenged. He was ecstatic when the CLAT results were announced and he found out that he had made it to NLU, Jodhpur.
However, life has not been easy for this bright scholar from the town of Karimnagar. His father passed away when he was very young, and he has lived with his mother and grandmother ever since. The family has struggled to survive, which made crossing hurdles arising from Veeranna’s visual impairment more difficult. He spent his childhood without access to sufficient reading material.
Veeranna has always been determined, dedicated, and focused on his ambitions. His vast knowledge of national and international issues and his coherence in articulating opinions on important contemporary topics impressed his IDIA trainers. He is confident that he will be able to shoulder his family’s responsibilities once he becomes a lawyer.
Veeranna has proved that hard work can help a person get through an otherwise difficult life. After coming to college, Veeranna stood his ground despite the competition and fast pace of law school. We believe that Veeranna’s enthusiasm and can-do approach will take him far in life. He is currently practising in his home district in Telangana.
