Applicability of the POSH Policy
The IDIA POSH Policy is intended to prevent gender based discrimination and sexual
harassment against employees of IDIA in India. The policy applies to all employees of IDIA,
irrespective of their gender identity, and extends to its affiliates, subsidiaries, and associates in
India.
This policy is binding on every employee of IDIA and covers all work related interactions,
whether occurring at the workplace, during work related travel, training programmes, meetings,
or any other work related activity
Legal Framework
This policy has been framed in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at
Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and the Sexual Harassment of
Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Rules, 2013.
While the legislation specifically addresses sexual harassment of women, IDIA recognises the
right of individuals of all gender identities to a safe workplace. Accordingly, the protections and
benefits under this policy are available to all employees.
