Legal education today does not come cheap! The cost of getting a law degree at the leading National Law Universities (including tuition fees and living expenses) is around INR 5,00,000 (5 lakhs) per annum. This is the biggest barrier to entry for the underprivileged. Help them access these hallowed halls of education, through the kindness of your contribution.
Tax Exemption
All donations qualify for tax exemption for Indian nationals under Section 80 G. Our 80G certificate can be accessed here. You will be contacted immediately after your donation is made to process your certificate. 50% of the donation made to IDIA Charitable Trust is allowed to be deducted from your taxable income.
Compliance
IDIA is registered as a charitable trust in India. Our registration certificate (under Section 12a) and the registered trust deed can be accessed here. We will soon have necessary registration for receiving foreign contributions which is currently being renewed and we adhere to all requirements (including those on utilization of funds) under the laws relating to foreign contributions
