Manash Mondal

Daring to dream beyond the ordinary despite his humble background, Manash from Dibrugarh, Assam, is one of the most motivated and focused IDIA scholars from the IDIA North-East Chapter. He has exhibited sincerity and potential, the most important qualities that make an IDIA scholar.

He lost his father at a very early age and his mother, a homemaker, struggles to make ends meet for their family of three. When Manash joined us as a trainee, their family income was just INR 4000 per month. Manash’s sincerity towards his academics was reflected in the way he balanced studying for his Class XII examinations with his CLAT preparations for a year. As a result of his diligence and dedication, Manash secured an All India Category Rank of 195 in CLAT 2015, securing a seat in Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (HNLU).

As a team leader of the IDIA Chhattisgarh Chapter, Manash has successfully organised National Level Essay competitions, numerous sensitization programs, and book collection drives at HNLU. He was also a Working Committee Member at Samanvay (a students’ programme to teach the underprivileged students in the villages of Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh) and class representative of Legal Aid and Social Services Committee, Student`s Bar Association, HNLU. He internships include those with L&L Partners (formerly Luthra & Luthra Law Offices), New Delhi; Regstreet Law Advisors, Mumbai and Vaish Associates and Advocates.

Manash’s dream of pursuing law is born from a desire to become an IAS officer and serve the society. His exceptional dedication will ensure a successful career for this bright boy, who is all set to use his education to change society for the better.
