Ayshath Suhara hails from Kollam, Kerala and is currently pursuing her B.A. LL.B. at Al-Ameen Law College, affiliated with the Karnataka State Law University. At the time of her admission in college, her father was a wood merchant and her mother a homemaker. She is passionate about social justice, and her primary reason for picking up law was to combat the injustices that people face due to a lack of awareness of their rights.
Ayshath enjoys reading, swimming and singing. She is also keenly interested in the activities on campus and took part in the moot court competitions and debates in her college. She has faced challenges relating to her health and has also worked on improving her English.
Ayshath says that she studying law offers her the education and qualification to make significant changes in the system. Her interest in pursuing a legal education also stems from her desire to cultivate the skills needed for analysing different sides of complex situations and problems and to devise solutions based on strong reasoning and critical thinking.
After her graduation, Ayshath is interested in continuing her education and pursuing a Master’s degree in Law.
