Ishika is a smart and motivated student from Khargone, a small district near Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Her father is no more and she lives with her mother who is a homemaker. Their total monthly family income from renting out two shops was just around Rs. 30,000 when Ishika joined IDIA as a Scholar. She has two older siblings, a sister and a brother.
Ishika studied at Maharishi Vidya Mandir in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh till 10th standard. She passed her 10th standard examinations with an impressive CGPA of 9.2 out of 10. For her senior secondary education, she moved to Navodaya Vidyalaya in Bhopal where she further scored an excellent 93% in her 12th standard examination. She came across IDIA through a sensitisation session at Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Ishika says, “I chose law because it fascinates me.”. She aspires to be a judge someday. Her hobbies include reading books and writing poetry.
