Coming from a humble background, Abhishek lost his father at the age of 9, and since then, his mother and brother have worked as daily wage laborers to support the family.Despite facing numerous challenges, particularly financial difficulties, he remained committed to his goal of pursuing law, seeing it as a means to gain knowledge and contribute to social service. In the long run, he also aspires to clear the civil services examinations.

Beyond academics, Abhishek enjoys playing chess and maintains a positive outlook on life, appreciating every opportunity that comes his way. He expresses gratitude to the IDIA Hyderabad team, his mentor Pooja Bharadwaj, the Devnar School Foundation, and its chairman Dr. Saibaba Gowd, for their unwavering support during his CLAT preparation.

However, Abhishek has encountered significant academic difficulties at law school due to accessibility challenges and struggles in mastering certain subjects. As a result, he was unable to clear eight out of ten subjects in the academic year 2022-23 and to improve his academic standing, he has chosen to stay back in the third year for the 2023-24 academic year, focusing on strengthening his command over subjects and overcoming accessibility barriers to perform better.
