Mohammad Atik Saiyed completed his schooling at Adani Vidya Mandir in Ahmedabad
(AVMA), a school for economically underprivileged students. He hails from Juhapura, on the
outskirts of Ahmedabad, where his father works as a plumber on a daily wage basis to
support their family of five, while his mother is a homemaker.
Atik has two siblings and considers his father a major source of inspiration. He studied in a government school until the third standard before securing admission to AVMA through an entrance exam.
Transitioning from a Gujarati-medium school to an English-medium institution brought both
opportunities and challenges, as he had to adapt to a new culture, habits, language, and
way of life.
Atik was introduced to IDIA through a Law for All: program at his school and was
selected as a trainee based on his potential. Members of the IDIA Ahmedabad (Nirma)
Chapter mentored and guided him through IDIA’s vision and mission, helping him develop
the skills and confidence to succeed.
He credits his mentors for igniting the spark in him to
believe in himself and achieve what once seemed impossible. Passionate about Corporate
Advisory Laws, Business Administration, and Management, Atik aspires to build a successful
career in corporate law.
His dedication and perseverance paid off as he secured a placement
at TTA, where he will begin his professional journey after graduation. His story is a
testament to resilience, hard work, and the transformative power of mentorship.
