ILS Law College, Pune
Hunny is currently in his fifth year (tenth semester) at ILS, Pune. He hails from a border district between Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, and his father is a farmer, while his mother is an Asha worker. His family includes his parents, grandmother, and uncle.
Hunny joined as an IDIA Trainee with the IDIA Delhi Chapter in 2019. After finishing his 12th standard, he took a gap year to prepare for law entrance exams with a strong determination to secure admission to a top-tier law college. He worked hard to improve his English and Logical Reasoning skills and stayed focused despite the challenges of the pandemic.
Hunny values his family, friendships, and personal growth. He is a humble, curious, and hardworking individual who cherishes the small moments in life. Music helps him stay calm and focused, and he also enjoys rap music, running a YouTube channel dedicated to it.
Apart from academics, Hunny is actively involved in moots and advocacy competitions and has developed strong research and presentation skills. His college also organizes sports and cultural events, and he plays basketball for his batch team, which won this year. He is passionate about Intellectual Property and Competition Law.
After completing his law degree, Hunny aspires to work at a Tier I law firm or as an in-house counsel at a company. His perseverance and dedication will undoubtedly help him excel in the legal field.
