Ayush Raj, hailing from Bihar, grew up witnessing how societal power holds more influence than wealth. Unlike many, Ayush’s choice to pursue law wasn’t a childhood dream but a deliberate decision. Inspired by its potential to offer diverse career opportunities, he saw law as a path to serve society and achieve his goal of joining the judiciary.
Ayush’s journey was full of challenges. During CLAT preparation, he faced moments of self-doubt when attending mock tests alongside students from privileged backgrounds. His father’s words, “Focus on yourself and keep improving,” became his guiding principle. Despite financial hardships, he persevered, securing a seat at NLSIU.
The road ahead wasn’t easy. To pay his counseling fees, Ayush borrowed ₹40,000 from a relative, realizing his struggles were far from over. IDIA’s support became a turning point, enabling him to pursue his dream without financial barriers.
Ayush’s achievements are inspiring—scoring 88% in Class 10 and 82.8% in Class 12, he balanced academics with a passion for cricket. From representing his district to earning a spot on NLSIU’s cricket team, Ayush’s dedication shines through.
His journey, powered by his family’s unwavering support, is a testament to resilience and purpose. Ayush dreams of creating a better future for his family, proving that with determination, even the greatest challenges can be overcome.
