Isha Sarva, from the vibrant Sun City of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is a first-year law student at the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi. She comes from a lower middle-class family of five, where her father works in a private job as the sole earner and her mother manages the home. Growing up in a household with limited resources, Isha learned early the importance of discipline, gratitude, and perseverance. Her parents always encouraged her to focus on education, believing it to be the path to a better future.
Isha completed her schooling in Jodhpur and passed Class 12 in 2020 with the Humanities stream. Although she considered herself an average student, she was always curious and hardworking, actively participating in debates, essay competitions, and cultural programs. After school, the uncertainty brought by the pandemic, along with financial pressure, left her unsure about her next steps. It was during this phase that she discovered her interest in law a field that offered both stability and the chance to serve society.
Without the means for coaching, Isha began preparing for CLAT 2023 through self-study, relying entirely on free online resources. The path was difficult, filled with doubts and setbacks, but she remained steadfast. Her belief in persistence kept her going even when circumstances made progress challenging.
A turning point came in July 2023 when Isha learned about IDIA. The organization became a pillar of support, offering not just financial assistance but constant emotional and academic guidance. IDIA’s belief in her potential helped her rebuild confidence and continue her preparation with renewed strength. She often describes IDIA as the strongest supporter in her journey.
After months of tireless effort and a long counseling process, Isha secured admission to NUSRL Ranchi through the vacant seat round. For her family, this achievement felt like a long-awaited dream finally taking shape.
Today, as a law student, Isha is determined to build a meaningful career in the legal field. She hopes her journey inspires others who come from humble beginnings to trust their abilities and persist through challenges.
For Isha, the road has been long, but every struggle has led her closer to her goal. She proudly says that her years of hard work have finally paid off and that dreams do come true. Her journey stands as a reminder that age is just a number and can never define a person’s capability or their potential to rise.
