Hailing from a small village in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, Sneha Singh’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of education and unwavering support. With her father being a farmer and her mother a homemaker, Sneha’s humble beginnings inspired her to dream big and make a difference in her community.
Sneha’s life took a significant turn when she cleared the Vidya Gyan entrance test, securing a 100% scholarship for free education. Joining Vidya Gyan School, Sitapur, she excelled academically, scoring remarkable percentages in both class 10th and 12th. A national football player for four consecutive years and a recipient of the Youth Leader Award for her ‘Hair Project,’ Sneha actively engaged in community service throughout her school journey.
Determined to break barriers and pursue law, Sneha cracked CLAT in 2022. However, financial constraints posed a hurdle in her pursuit of joining a law college. It was then that she came across Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) through a sensitization program at her school. Becoming an IDIA trainee, Sneha prepared for CLAT with online coaching and trainee material, all provided by IDIA, which supported her every step of the way.
Driven by her family’s personal experience of injustice and the lack of attention to the voices of the underprivileged, Sneha aspires to delve into the field of law to seek justice where it is due. The idea of giving back to the community and helping those in need is at the core of Sneha’s dreams. Inspired by the teachings and values instilled in her at Vidya Gyan School, she vows to utilize education as a powerful tool to bring about positive change in the world.
Sneha Singh’s journey from a small village to aspiring to make a difference in the field of law stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration. Empowered by the support of Vidya Gyan and IDIA, she represents the resilience and determination of individuals who strive to create a more just and equitable society. As she pursues her dreams, Sneha envisions a future where she can bring justice to those who have been unheard and serve as a catalyst for positive change in her community and beyond.
