Shivam Sharan hails from Patna, Bihar. His father works in the State Electricity Board. After finishing his schooling from D.A.V. Public School (BSEB), Patna, he decided to pursue law as a career. With help from IDIA, Shivam performed exceptionally in the CLAT and secured an admission to WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (WBNUJS) and successfully completed his BA LL.B in the year 2017. He was a brilliant law student during his law school days. He was recently to present a paper at the Oxford India Summit, 2014. He also represented NUJS at prestigious 24th Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition in Beijing. He was also a semi-finalist at the Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong. Soon after graduation, Shivam joined the prestigious law firm AZB & Partners, Delhi and worked there until June 2021. From July 2021 Shivam started his independent practice in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India.
