Piyush hails from the small town of Ganj Basoda in Madhya Pradesh. His journey to success is a testament to his unwavering determination and hard work. He is a driven and accomplished legal professional currently making significant contributions as a Corporate Lawyer at Jio Financial Services.
Growing up in a joint family with a strong emphasis on earning a livelihood, Piyush’s academic aspirations were nurtured at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, a boarding school. His exceptional academic prowess was evident from the beginning, culminating in a remarkable 10 CGPA in class 10th and 90% score in his 12th standard with Science subjects.
Recognizing his potential, Piyush dedicated a gap year to rigorous CLAT preparation, where he was fortunate to receive invaluable guidance from the IDIA MP Chapter. Their mentorship played a pivotal role in his successful admission to the National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
Throughout his law school journey, Piyush excelled both academically and extracurricularly. He honed his legal acumen through internships at prestigious law firms such as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Saraf & Partners, IndusLaw, JSA, and State Bank of India. Demonstrating his competitive spirit, he clinched the Gold Medal in Snooker at Virudhaka, one of the largest law school sports fests in India, showcasing his versatility beyond academics. Additionally, Piyush actively participated in moot court competitions and contributed insightful articles on corporate law.
Piyush also took on the responsibility of leading the IDIA MP Chapter and under his leadership, a team of approximately 70 volunteers from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, successfully organized an all-India essay writing competition, raising over ₹1.24 lakh for the organization.
With a strong foundation in law, practical experience, and a proven commitment to social responsibility, Piyush is now committed to leveraging his expertise to drive positive change in the corporate world. Beyond his professional pursuits, he maintains a keen interest in sports, politics, and International affairs.
