Jarupula Rohith

Jarupula Rohith comes from Thakkalapally Thanda, a small village in Yacharam Mandal of Ranga Reddy district, Telangana. With a family income of around ₹1.9 lakhs annually, life was never easy, but his parents, especially his father, Jarupula Yadagiri, always encouraged him to study and pursue his dreams. Growing up in a rural environment with limited access to resources shaped Rohith’s resilience, determination, and belief in education as a way forward.

Preparing for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) became one of the toughest challenges of his life. Poor internet connectivity in his village made accessing online study material and mock tests extremely difficult. Still, driven by his ambition to become a lawyer, Rohith remained committed to his goal.

He first learned about IDIA (Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access) through Instagram Reels, where he was inspired by the journeys of other scholars who overcame hardships and entered top law schools. Motivated by their stories, he applied to join IDIA and was selected as a trainee. From then on, IDIA became a guiding force in his journey, offering mentorship, academic support, and constant motivation through every obstacle.

With IDIA’s support and his own hard work, Rohith successfully cleared CLAT and secured admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) in 2025. This achievement marked a turning point for him and his family.

Now at NLUO, Rohith is eager to explore academics, mooting, and research while also participating in IDIA’s CHAMPS initiative, which nurtures leadership and holistic development. He dreams of giving back by mentoring future IDIA trainees and uplifting students from marginalized communities.

Rohith’s journey, shaped by struggle and strengthened by support, stands as a powerful reminder that determination and opportunity together can transform lives. He hopes to inspire others to believe that no dream is too big and no background too small to succeed.
