Krishna Kumar P. K. is an advocate practising at the Calicut District Court, Kerala. He completed his B.Com LL.B (Hons.) degree after developing a strong interest in legal systems and social issues during his schooling at Silver Hills Higher Secondary School, Calicut.
He comes from a supportive family, and the encouragement he received throughout his academic and professional journey has shaped his commitment to public service and responsible legal practice. His decision to pursue law stemmed from a desire to meaningfully contribute to society by protecting rights and ensuring dignity for individuals who face injustice or violations of fundamental freedoms.
Krishna Kumar’s legal interests extend to areas that intersect with evolving societal challenges. He is particularly focused on environmental law, climate-related legal issues, and the growing risks associated with cybercrime. He believes that such emerging concerns call for proactive legal engagement, awareness-building, and stronger accountability frameworks to safeguard individuals and communities.
Through the fellowship, he hopes to refine his legal skills, learn from experienced mentors, and gain broader exposure to complex and contemporary legal issues. He sees this opportunity as a stepping stone toward becoming a lawyer who serves with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to justice, while contributing to a more informed and resilient legal framework for society.
