Tseyuhla

Tseyuhla’s decision to pursue law is rooted in her belief that society and the legal system are closely intertwined. Growing up in a small town with a close-knit community allowed her to observe everyday challenges faced by ordinary people, and these experiences sparked early questions about fairness, systems, and rights.

Being exposed to the legal profession from a young age also influenced her interest. Observing how the law could create real impact strengthened her motivation, and this curiosity developed further when she completed a certificate course in Legal Literacy conducted by NLSIU, Bengaluru.

She then prepared for the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) and secured admission to Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Her three years at CLC played an important role in shaping her perspective, professional aspirations, and understanding of the legal system.

Her interest in the fellowship stems from a philosophical alignment with IDIA’s mission. She was raised to believe that giving back to society is a responsibility, not an option, and she sees IDIA’s work as a reflection of the values she carries.

Through the fellowship, she aims to use the law as a tool to empower marginalized communities, strengthen awareness of rights, and prevent exploitation caused by misinformation or lack of access to legal support.

Her long-term vision is to build a purposeful legal career rooted in service, ensuring that individuals and communities with limited access to legal systems are heard, informed, and supported.
